Network Security Training Program
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
In partnership with Fortinet, WOMCY is launching the 3rd edition of the “WOMCY NSE HERO” FCP – NETWORK SECURITY training and certification program.
The program, aimed exclusively for members of the WOMCY CyberCert community, aims to reduce the gap in trained and qualified professionals and promote greater diversity in the cybersecurity industry in Latin America.
PROGRAM ACTIVITIES:
Opportunity for professional development through training and preparation to obtain FCP NETWORK SECURITY certification.
The course will be offered to women and men and has the following benefits for participants:
- Access to the Fortinet Training Institute (self-study)
- Training: FCP Network Security
- Free Pearson VUE voucher for the Certification test
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Course: FCP – Fortinet Certified Professional Network Security. The student must choose 2 courses, as follows:
Core:
- FortiGate Administrator
Elective: Student must choose one (1) of the courses below:
- FortiClient EMS Administrator
- FortiManager
- FortiAnalyzer Administrator
- FortiAuthenticator Administrator
- FortiNAC
- FortiSwitch
- Secure Wireless LAN Administrator
Modality: e-learning (self-study)
Language: Training and exam in ENGLISH
Cost: free
Registration: from March 13 to May 13, 2024
Final date for requesting vouchers: July 12, 2024
Period to carry out certification: until December 2024 (depending on the expiration date of the voucher, which is valid for 6 months from the date of issue by Fortinet)
Requirements:
- Register as WOMCY CyberCert and pay US$25 using the coupon NSE2024. Only personal email accounts are accepted.
- Have knowledge of networking and network protocols
- Have access to a computer with an internet connection
- Target audience: information security professionals, network administrators and IT professionals who work with Fortinet products and solutions or who want to become experts in network security in general.
Eligibility: women and men
IMPORTANT:
- If you’re new to the field and don’t yet have knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals or experience with Fortinet products, this program doesn’t apply to you.
- If you already have the NSE 4 or NSE 5 certification and just want to recertify, keep in mind that in this program you will receive 2 vouchers and must take both exams again. If you do not want to take both exams, this program is not applicable for you.
- The WOMCY NSE HERO program will only accept personal email registrations. Any registration made using corporate and/or commercial emails will not be accepted.

TOPICS COVERED IN THE COURSE:
The FCP Network Security certification validates the student’s ability to protect networks and applications by deploying, managing and monitoring Fortinet network security products.
Topics covered in the courses cover everyday tasks related to Fortinet network security devices.
STEPS TO REGISTER FOR THE PROGRAM:
To register for the WOMCY NSE HERO program you must complete the following steps:
- Register using the WOMCY CyberCert link and pay US$25, use the coupon code NSE2024 at checkout. If you do not use the coupon code, you will no be able to checkout.
